Express Nursing are recruiting pharmacy assistants for ad hoc and block booking shifts across the UK for ASDA community pharmacies.
To be employed in this role you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
The stores operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, with that brings a wide variety of shift patterns – if you're looking for flexible working to fit around your lifestyle, then look no further! We'll work with you on your shifts, but weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we may need to be flexible with your work pattern.
You will also be responsible for spending time accurately assembling and processing prescriptions. It will be your responsibility to drive awareness of all the extra services offered in Pharmacy (e.g., Prescription Collection Service, Medicines Use Reviews etc). You will support the Pharmacist with the delivery and effective record keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes etc). You will develop an understanding of the strict Standard Operating Procedures and work to them as the customers will expect nothing less. You will also be collecting the customer's prescription from their doctor's surgery on their behalf and bringing it to the store ready for collection.
Rates: £12 - £14 p/h

Requirements:
To apply for these shifts you must be fully registered with our agency as we offer them to our compliant pharmacy assistants first. You must have experience with in a similar healthcare setting and have 12+ months post registration experience to be considered.
