KnowsleyExpress Nursing are recruiting a Qualified and experienced Social Worker to join Knowsley Council's Children with Disabilities team.
The suitable candidate will be expected to work to keep disabled children and their siblings in need of help and protection or in public care safe. You will be working directly with the child or young person and their family carer and will be working across referrals, assessments, CP and CIC.
Social Workers are expected to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that children and their families are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve without compromising the child’s safety.
To be considered for the Social Worker role:
• 1-3 years experience of working within a similar social work setting
• Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• SWE registration
• Safeguarding experience required
• Evidence of working with a complex caseload

You must have experience with in a similar healthcare setting and have 12+ months post registration experience to be considered. SCW checks and all compliance checks will be conducted before you are offered shifts.
