We currently have a short term vacancy for a Social Worker to work in a Disabilities 0-25 Services.
The suitable candidate will be expected to deliver a high quality social work service to children and young people who are deemed vulnerable or needing support due to :
An impairment that is either physical or mental and the impairment has a substantial long term effect on the individual’s ability to carry out day to day activities.
They will need to work with the citizen, carers and families to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that the citizen, families and carers are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve..
Skills and qualifications required:
Recognised Relevant Social Work Qualification
3 years post qualified
Registered with Social Care Wales
Good Verbal & Written Communication

The assignment is for 37HPW, Monday – Friday and will be combination of home based and office days located in Colwyn Bay. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 - 26 weeks with potential to be extended.
Requirements:

You must have experience with in a similar healthcare setting and have 12+ months post registration experience to be considered. SCW checks and all compliance checks will be conducted before you are offered shifts.
In order to maximise your shift offering, please ensure we have all of your availability for the upcoming months to ensure that we can offer you the most work possible and not contact you for shifts we know you are not available for.
